Lucky Leaves
Oh, these lucky leaves
That release themselves
Fall into the river and float
Away
Some of them remember
To stick their stems above
The stream and sail along
Longer than the others
That forget from one year
To the next
It’s important to remember
Because it is so easy to forget the One thing
That helps us sail along
